Sharing Information about Arlington Public Schools

What is the Key Communicator Program?

^ CLICK TO JOIN ^

It is a network of people who are well-connected to both the schools and the community. The idea is to promote a continuing two-way exchange between key communicators and the schools.

Why do we need Key Communicators?
Developing one-on-one relationships is an effective means of communicating within the the community. Key Communicators will help people know more about the school district and help the school district know more about what people think, feel, and know.
How does the Key Communicator Network work?

Each Key Communicator will routinely be kept informed of school issues through e-mail messages from Misti Gilman. Throughout the normal course of the day - at soccer practice, band practice, or while chatting with a neighbor - Key Communicators will be asked to share the information and then make the district aware of questions or concerns by sending an email to misti.gilman@asd.wednet.edu .

There are no meetings to attend; we simply ask that you help us keep informed of what our community thinks about a particular issue.

How can I join the Key Communicator Network?
It's simple! Simply fill out the Key Communicator form. You will be expected to continue participating in the network for as long as you wish.
